Lauderdale and Hollywood International airport, the death of Marlins ace pitcher José Fernández, as well as Hurricane Irma. Her coverage was featured on several NBC stations across the country, as well as MSNBC and The Weather Channel.
As bilingual general assignment News Reporter and Anchor, She assumed her role in January, 2018 and enjoys the beautiful weather and meeting the friendly people of San Diego County. Her extensive service in San Diego led her to the 2019 National Association of Hispanic Journalist Al Neuharth Investigative Journalism award
Between Dec 2012 and Apr 2013 Online she served as a Online Editor with The Daily Free Press in Greater Boston Area, where she was in charge of Social Media, Blog and Video Editors and worked closely with those three editors and other sections to develop content serving all aspects of print and online content.
After graduating with a B.S. in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science, she moved to Texas, where she was a weekend evening news anchor and general assignment reporter at the CBS affiliate in Lubbock, Texas. She traveled to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and El Paso to cover Pope Francis’ visit to the Texas and Mexico border during this period.
