Gabby Windey Husband
Gabby isn’t married. She is single and that’s why she joined The Bachelor season 26 in order to win Clayton Echard’s heart, the lead bachelor.
According to her bio page on ABC, Gabby is looking for a man with quiet confidence. She doesn’t have a physical type but says that if he doesn’t have a personality, then it’s a hard pass. Her ideal man will challenge her, communicate his feelings and work hard to equally carry the weight of the relationship. The one non-negotiable for Gabby? Whatever man captures Gabby’s heart must also have room in their life for her four-legged friend because she and her Goldendoodle Leonardo are a package deal. While Gabby would love to find a man, she isn’t the type to lose herself in a relationship. She’s hoping to find a man who will love her for the independent woman she is.
Gabby already has some experience with men from Bachelor Nation. She, previously dated Blake Hortsmann and Dean Unglert. Both men have been open about their relationships with her. Blake explained on his Behind The Rose podcast that they were casual and only dated for “couple [of] months,” while Dean said on his podcast Help! I Suck at Dating that their relationship was more serious. “She was, like, one of the main exes. She was my girlfriend from college.”
Still, the two both seemed excited for Gabby to embark on this new journey. “She’s fun. She has a very outgoing personality, very loud, like, when she walks into a room, you know she’s in a room,” Blake said on his podcast. Dean, for his part, talked Gabby up to Bachelor producers when they called to ask what he thought of her and is convinced that she’ll either win the season or become the next Bachelorette.

Steve also followed this info up with a spoiler that Gabby had made it to the final three alongside Susie and Rachel!
(BACHELOR SPOILER): Here are your final 4 for Clayton’s season. Susie’s hometown filmed yesterday. Not confirmed on the remaining order, but guess is Rachel tomorrow in Orlando (she doesn’t live Chicago anymore), Serene on Saturday in Oklahoma City, & Gabby on Monday in Denver. pic.twitter.com/JaMTqE7vBg

According to Reality Steve, Clayton’s final two are likely Rachel and Gabby. After the trailer dropped, Steve shared the following analysis:
“The two women whose backs are to us (and he’s seemingly telling he was intimate with both) are Rachel and Gabby, two women we know had hometown dates… So most people assume now Gabby and Rachel are your final two based on that shot in Iceland. Certainly looks that way, but with the way the editing works and how tricky they can get sometimes, the only thing we know for sure is that whole scene happens in Iceland.”
Gabby Windey Career
Gabby is an ICU Nurse. She worked for seven years as a registered nurse in the medical ICU at the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital. Previously, she opened up to The Athletic about working at the hospital amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re all leaning on each other, and it really becomes a new normal kind of fast,” she said. “All of the health care is ever-changing because we’re always trying to make sure we’re doing things the best way, which comes with evidence-based practice and re-evaluating the way we’re doing things. So we are used to change. But it is hard and, of course, this is different because of the seriousness of it and how many people it’s affecting.”
Aside from being a nurse, Gabby was a Denver Broncos Cheerleader for five years. In 2021, she was named the co-winner of the Pop Warner Humanitarian Award for her service on the frontline of the pandemic—making her the first woman and NFL cheerleader to receive the honor, which is usually awarded to NFL players.
Gabby said goodbye to her time as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader in April 2021 with a post on Instagram. She wrote, “No words can describe my experience as a DBC. I will always be extremely grateful for these years and the people I’ve met along the way.”
