Will Grant is a media personality serving as BBC’s Mexico and Cuba correspondent based in Havana and Mexico City. Previously, he was based in Venezuela, Miami and London.

Grant is the BBC’s Mexico and Cuba Correspondent. He is also known as one of the UK’s leading broadcast journalists on Latin American affairs. He has been a BBC correspondent in Latin America since 2007 with successive deployments to Venezuela, Mexico and Cuba. Across his career, he has been responsible for covering the region from Patagonia to the Rio Grande and has travelled to every part of the continent in that time. He is currently based in Havana and Mexico City.
Will began his journalism career in 2001 at BBC Mundo, the company’s Spanish foreign language output, as a broadcast assistant. He has also worked in a number of the BBC’s departments since 2001. In 2014, he became the correspondent for Cuba.
In 2021, Will published his book ¡Populista! The Rise of Latin America’s 21st Century Strongman.
