From there, Mike would learn the craft as an on-the-road journalist for the Macquarie Network, graduating as a reporter for “The Mike Carlton Breakfast Show”, and then 2GB Current Affairs.
Mike switched to television as a producer for “The Midday Show with Ray Martin”, before taking a four-year gap year to allegedly sing for local band The Trilobites, when you could see a live band in Sydney.
