While there, Aisling did a Research Thesis in Archaeological Geophysics.
In 2009, she received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Meteorology from the University College Dublin. She is also a fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society and a qualified Meteorologist.

Aisling is married to Samuel Woodcock and they are blessed with twin boys. The boys, Tiernan and Oisín were born on May 12, 2018, and weighed in at 6lb 6oz and 5lb 13oz respectively.

“I am so tired but so happy. Myself and Sam are just really, really pleased with our little boys,” Aisling said.

In 2009, she started her career as a forecaster with MeteoGroup UK. Three years later, she joined the Met Office to become a low flying aviation specialist. She then moved on to become a media specialist in the BBC. While there, Creevey’s main role was briefing for regional, national and global weather, and was then very lucky to be given the opportunity to work as a Broadcast Meteorologist.
Previously, she was a G.I.S (Geographic Information Systems) technician working on a pilot project to help improve flooding defenses along the east coast of Ireland. Weather and the environment have always been in her blood.
