She also interviewed several high profile news makers, including: Senator John McCain and Walter Cronkite.

Susan anchored an hour live special newscast regarding the disappearance of missing Aruba teen Natalee Holloway. She also reported live both on CNN and HLN from the Ron Clark Academy during President Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Hendricks started her journalism career at Comcast Cable in Los Angeles, California before moving to KESQ in Palm Springs where she was a field reporter. She covered several breaking stories in California such as the disappearance and murder of Samantha Runion. She was also in the courtroom at The Marine Corps.
