He was also an investigative reporter for ABC6 News from 2006 to 2010. However, currently, he is the Director of Communications for the Providence City Council.
On May 23, 2019, Parker celebrated his 40th birthday.
The family lives in Providence with their daughter, Grace, their son, Graham, and dog, Fitz.
