On BBC’s The Repair Shop, West was invited to repair an item in 2017. Since then, more items arrived, leading to him becoming a regular member of the team, together with his amazing bunch of skilled craftspeople. He has repaired over 100 items on the show. The team now appears on primetime TV on BBC1.
Brenton West Awards
The Repair Shop was awarded Best Daytime Programme by the Royal Television Society in 2019, thereby receiving the prestigious international Rose d’Or prize for Reality and Factual Entertainment. A year later it won Best Daytime Programme at the Broadcast Awards.
Following his excellent performance, the show was nominated for a BAFTA, the National Television Awards, and won the TRIC award in 2021.
His most current award is when he won my episode of Celebrity Mastermind in March 2022.
