Now fully recovered, Koeppen is a national spokesperson for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. She works closely with the American Heart Association and has told her story on several national talk shows.
Before coming to WPXI-TV, Koeppen founded Susan Koeppen Media where she works as a motivational speaker, emcee, and moderator for local and national events. She previously anchored newscasts for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, she was a consumer correspondent for CBS News’ The Early Show.
