Rachel Burden (Rachel Mary Ann Cecilia Burden) is a well-known female British presenter, newsreader, and radio news reporter. She works for BBC and is the host of Radios Live and BBC Breakfast.

The British presenter grew up in a loving family and was raised by her two parents. Her father is Paul Burden. He was also a journalist just like her daughter. Paul is a former BBC journalist. Prior to his job at BBC, he worked for a news agency in the North.
He began his career at the Beeb as a reporter and ended up presenting the early morning business programme, Business Breakfast. Additionally, his father left the BBC the year her daughter, Rachel started.
However, her mother’s name is not known.
Rachel has four brothers, two of her brothers were born in Stockport. She also has a cousin in Stockton Heath. In addition she is the niece of the actor, Hugh Burden.

Burden is a strong family woman. She is married to Luke Mendham and they wedded in 2004. Luke is also a BBC journalist.
The couple has four children; Rose Mendham, Sam Mendham, Alice Mendham and Henry Mendham.
During her fourth pregnancy, Rachel developed complications which led to the birth of a premature baby. “The first hint that something was wrong came at the end of January 2016. I started getting puffy ankles. My mum said, ‘You are quite swollen and you don’t normally get like that.’ I said, ‘It’s fine.’ ”
The journalist and her family currently live in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Rachel began her career in BBC as the reporter of BBC Radio Suffolk. She later became the host of Radio Bristol and co-hosted with Nigel Dando. Nigel is the brother to the late Jill Dando a presenter who was murdered.
In 2003 she decided to join Radio 5 Live. She became the weekday breakfast show presenter together with Nicky Campbell. In 2015, she became the relief presenter of BBC Breakfast show.
