Marlena Hilari Wesh is a sprinter for both Haiti and the United States of America. She competed in the 2012 summer Olympics for Haiti in the women’s 200-meter and 400-meter sprints. The Former Olympian is also one of the contestants in the American dating reality show, The Bachelor season 26th.

While Jordan studied Criminal Justice at Virginia Wesleyan University, Russell opted to become an IT professional and her other brother remains anonymous. Wesh says she still feels Haitian even though she wasn’t born there.

The Former Olympian recently participated as a contestant in The Bachelor season 26th, featuring the 28-year-old Clayton Echard, a medical sales representative from Eureka, Missouri.
Being one of the 32 contestants vying for Clayton Echard’s heart, Marlena was labeled “the Full Package” over ABC’s bio. They said, “Marlena is definitely the full package, and to say she’s accomplished would be an understatement.”
Marlena is not only the vice president of human resources but also runs her own real estate company, thereby owning several properties. She also won the 400-meter sprint for Clemson in April 2012 at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Outdoor championships with a time of 51.43 seconds, which was a meet record and her 4th consecutive 400-meter ACC championship. It is a current American college record and 17th best in the world, and this time made her eligible to compete in the Olympics for both Haiti and America. Out of her parent’s five children, Wesh is the only one that considers themselves Haitian-American.
In March 2012 at Boise State University in Idaho, Marlena earned All-American designation in Division I Championship. She also ran her personal best in the 400-meters with a time of 51.23, just 0.03 seconds behind the first-place finisher in early July 2012, just prior to the London Olympics. One month later, Wesh achieved her goal of making it to the 400-meter semi-finals in the 2012 London Olympics, having come in third in her heat. On August 4th same year on Saturday, she failed to make it to the finals, placing 8th in her heat and 19th overall, with a time of 52:49.
Marlena’s energy is infectious and her smile lights up a room. She understands her purpose in this world and has worked hard for all that she owns. When Marlena loves, she loves hard and is looking for the right partner with whom to settle down. Wesh prefers to travel solo and has visited more than 15 countries and she says there’s nothing or no one in this world who could convince her to go bungee jumping.
Wesh is now trying her best to find the man of her dreams. She is not only a hard worker but also a hard lover, though her chance of winning Clayton’s heart wasn’t looking good. While promoting her appearance on the show, she wrote on her Instagram page on 16th Dec ” got sick of and tired swiping left so I swiped right on over to Clayton’s…….heart. Cash me inside.”
