Devising and Producing the broadcast plan for the Games and The Olympic Torch Relay, Flattery was a Royal Television Society nominee for our groundbreaking Torch Relay live broadcasts.

For 4 years (Jan 2004 – Nov 2008) the media personnel was the  BBC News Special Events Producer leading on large scale outside broadcasts for BBC News including the BBC1 OB coverage of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.
