Her other tasks included pitching stories to the news team, joining and assisting reporters in the field, and volunteering her skills in every area of the newsroom including producing social media and editing.
During her University studies at Ohio University, Anna devoted much of her time to WOUB Public Media. Working with NewsWatch at Noon, she was the producer and anchor for the daily television broadcast of local news, features, sports, and weather focused on the Athens community. This also includes live field reports as well as the production of online news and feature content. She equally developed and reported broadcast stories such as the economics behind the high price of college textbooks, how the traveling Vietnam War Memorial touched local veterans and families, the impact of budget cuts on a college dance program, clown scares around town, and campus events such as “Love Yourself Week,” Homecoming and more.
Outside of the newsroom, Anna enjoys exercising, spending time with friends, cooking, and exploring new places. She grew up dancing and has even danced with prestigious dance companies in New York City. The journalist also has a love for and dedication to philanthropy. Over the years she has partnered with The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
