Hebden also runs her own independent production company, Carpe Diem Media Productions which produces @WonderWomenTVUK a monthly podcast with industry leaders along with the popular, annual live event – Wonder Women Live!
Hebden’s hard work and tenacity have led her to be nominated for a series of awards including; Best Presenter at the 2020 New Voice Awards organized by the Edinburgh TV Festival, a 2020 Black British Business Award, and New Talent award at the 2019 Women in Film & Television Awards.
Throughout her career, Hebden has interviewed a plethora of people including; Sandi Toksvig and Kim Cattrall about the #MeToo movement; Ruby Wax on the subject of Mental Health and Idris Elba and John Boyega about the ongoing diversity issue that is influencing some black British talent to migrate to the US for work.
In addition to presenting, Hebden also hosts prestigious industry awards for the Royal Television Society, MIPCOM, and the Jack Petchey Foundation and moderates industry panel discussions for BAFTA, RTS Futures, and the Media Production Show.
Hebden is also a mentor for the Media Trust, a mentee of the prestigious Women in Film & Television Network, an ambassador for the MAMA Youth Project, and a member of BAFTA.
Ria Hebden Dancing on Ice
Ria is one of the celebrity contestants on Dancing on Ice. She will be competing in the primetime showcase alongside skating professional Lukasz Rozycki.

As Ria presented her Entertainment segment on Friday’s (November 5, 2021) show, she spoke about her upcoming debut on Dancing on Ice and explained the details of her current training sessions. Video clips of her skating were played as she went on to say she would find out who her partner was that same day before Lorraine asked her: “Do you not have any idea who it is?”
Little did Ria know that Lukasz Różycki was waiting backstage ready to meet her.
Lorraine proceeded to tease her by saying: “It’s funny that you don’t know. Because we know,” before directing her attention to the sliding doors to reveal her pro partner.
Ria will be joining Olympic BMX rider Kye Whyte, Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays dancer Bez, Paralympian Stef Reid, Love Island’s Liberty Poole, rugby star Ben Foden, Paul Gascoigne’s son Regan Gascoigne, pop star Rachel Stevens and former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Brendan Cole.
The show will also be hosted by This Morning’s Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. Oti Mabuse, a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, will also join Dancing on Ice as a new judge, replacing John Barrowman. Alongside Mabuse will be judges Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean.
Dancing On Ice starts on ITV at 6.30 pm on Sunday, January 16.
