Harold is a sports anchor at Fox 4 News in Kansas City, Missouri. After calling Tulsa, Oklahoma home as a Weekend Sports Anchor and Reporter for over 6 years, he joined Fox 4 News in February 2019. Originally from Nashville, Harold’s had the great fortune of being around Big 12 country covering the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys, along with Tulsa and Oral Roberts.
Harold’s no stranger to covering big events. During his time in Tulsa, he covered a Final Four, along with multiple NCAA Basketball tournaments, and NBA Playoff runs with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was also the 1st to interview the Thunder draft pick and Tulsa native Terrance Ferguson on NBA draft night. For football, he’s covered bowl games, big games in the Big 12, and AAC. He has also gone down to cover the Dallas Cowboys (one of those games was against the Kansas City Chiefs!).
In addition, before Tulsa, Harold was in Hagerstown, MD where he covered multiple games for the Redskins and Ravens along with tracking the pro careers of both Bryce Harper and Manny Machado from Single-A ball to the major leagues with the Nationals and Orioles. His favorite thing to find are stories that relate to both sports and non-sports fans, such as stories on the re-emergence of the popular Native American sport of Stickball and interviewing the 2 of the 1st black men to integrate High School Football in Oklahoma.
Harold is active in the community, volunteering his time with the Rotary Club, Special Olympics, and Wayman Tisdale Foundation, and hopes to do the same in the Kansas City area. He was named Tulsa’s best Sports Anchor in 2018 by the Tulsa Press Club. In his spare time, Harold likes to Golf, watch movies and hang out with his lovely wife, Marcia.
