Her passion for broadcasting and television communications started when she was 16 and got involved with the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen program. Through this organization, she learned that her passion is to help people by being a resource for them. This is something she wants to continue in her professional career.
In her free time, Roedder serves as a mental health advocate with her platform she created in 2015 called Mental Health Matters. She also works with various organizations to promote resources to those in need and encouraging others to share their stories. In addition, she serves as the Campus Relations Advisor for the Epsilon Chi Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at Kansas State University. She enjoys spending time with her dog Theo and watching Friends.
