Believe it or not, Brooks knew Alex would be the one before they met. He had been praying to someday find his Queen and after learning a new host was coming to join the TV station, he jokingly said to the producers (without even seeing a picture of her), “Yep, she’ll be my wife”. But little did the two know, a simple friendship would soon turn into a love story.
Brooks and Alex clicked from their first conversation. After listening to the sweet sounds of Ledisi, Brian Culbertson, and Gladys Knight at the 2019 Jacksonville Jazz Fest, they knew their connection was special.
From growing together in their faith to pushing each other in their careers, Brooks and Alex have laid an unbreakable foundation. Yes, they’re the couple that takes a lot of pictures together and has no shame in doing it for the ‘gram. They even launched a YouTube series ‘Reel Love’. But whether they’re on or off camera, Brooks and Alex look forward to spending life together forever.
