Brooks and Alex clicked from their first conversation. After listening to the sweet sounds of Ledisi, Brian Culbertson, and Gladys Knight at the 2019 Jacksonville Jazz Fest, they knew their connection was special.
From growing together in their faith to pushing each other in their careers, Brooks and Alex have laid an unbreakable foundation. Yes, they’re the couple that takes a lot of pictures together and has no shame in doing it for the ‘gram. They even launched a YouTube series ‘Reel Love’. But whether they’re on or off camera, Brooks and Alex look forward to spending life together forever.

Livingston is a host of “Morning Rush.” She was raised in New Jersey so she’s a bit of a pizza and bagel snob. If you’re going to treat her to either, make sure it’s good! She has been across the country and back again following her TV dreams.
Prior to making the move to Chicago, Alex worked the previous two years as Weekend News Anchor and First Coast Living Lifestyle Show Host/Reporter for WTLV, the NBC affiliate in Jacksonville, FL. In August 2020, Livingston co-produced and co-hosted a very successful original program called Voice 2 Vote. The special focused on answering common voting questions that would encourage people to hit the polls and vote. While in Jacksonville, Livingston also got the opportunity to cover severe weather events, including Hurricane Dorian in 2019.
Before she joined WTLV, Livingston was the Weekend News Anchor/Reporter at KTVB in Boise, ID. In 2017, Livingston’s reporting contributions in covering the Weiser flooding story helped KTVB win a NATAS Northwest Emmy Award for Best Evening Newscast. In 2016, Livingston was honored by the Idaho Press Club with a First Place Award in the General News Report category.
Livingston’s professional broadcasting career began as a News Anchor/Reporter at WOAY (ABC) in Oak Hill, WV. An outstanding athlete, Livingston played Division I tennis for the Peacocks.
